Hi, I’m Rob. I’ve spent most of my life in the U.P. - growing up in Munising, attending college at Lake Superior State University, and returning home to serve as the Alger County Prosecutor. Now, I’m running for Judge of the 11th Circuit because I believe that together, we can make our home a better place.

I was raised in a factory house - my family has over 100 years in the Munising paper mill - and my first job as a kid was working in a tribal fishery. I learned early that there is no substitute for hard work, and that we all have a responsibility to our community. It’s because of these values that I became an attorney, a volunteer firefighter, and a public servant - they are the foundation of why I’m running for judge.

But I’m also running for judge because I’ve seen both sides as a defense attorney and a prosecutor. When I started my own criminal and veterans law firm, our mission was “to give a voice to those that had none.” I believed then - just as I do now - that everyone has a right to be heard. But justice also requires accountability, to one’s self and to the community.

As judge, I will restore these values to justice in the 11th Circuit. I hope you’ll join me.
